FONA International offers a summer internship program for college students with the goal of providing professional, business experience while they develop themselves and pursue their college degree. Generally, the internship season is for 10 - 12 weeks between the last week of May and the third week of August with students returning back to school at the end of the internship season to continue their college pursuit.
Interns follow a rigorous program that includes the completion of certain assigned projects in addition to their regular duties, serving on FONA’s Employee and Family Picnic Committee, volunteering at least one day at a local charitable organization, attending lunch and learns with senior management and assisting with our Take Your Child to Work Day. At the end of the summer, interns present their learnings to FONA management and receive performance reviews to ensure their learnings have been mutually beneficial to them and to FONA.

We have several posts from past interns about their experiences (here and here), as well as information about volunteer projects and the picnic. You can also learn more about FONA and the various employees and departments on our YouTube channel.
New interns are required to submit their resume and cover letter along with their stated desired position and planned college degree. Interviews are required. Internship offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug and background screen. All internships are paid positions.
FONA is currently accepting applications for summer 2018. There are limited number of positions available each summer. Applications will be reviewed in March and phone interviews scheduled with qualified candidates based on area of study, available work experience, and FONA's areas of need for the summer.
